Batam Island which is known as one of industrial cities in Indonesia becomes a favorite city for all foreign investors to make some business in this city. There are so many easiness in conducting the business offered by the Government that enables all the investors to expand their business here in Batam. And it is not a secret anymore that there are many expatriate works in Batam. Most of them stay in hotels, and some stay in many houses in Batam. Besides the workers, Batam also becomes one of destination cities for foreigners to do shopping. That’s why sometimes we can see there are so many foreigners come to some plazas or malls in Batam, and they will stay in some Hotels to stay over night. For this chance, I am not going to list all hotels in batam here because I realize that there are more than hundreds hotels here, but I just explain some hotels that I think very famous and always visited by foreigners or local guests who make business in batam. 1. PLANET HOLIDAY HOTEL

The Planet Holiday Hotel is located in Jodoh. It just takes 5 minutes from Nagoya to arrive at this hotel and takes 7 to 10 minutes from Harbour Bay Sea Port. This is one of a well known hotels in batam, and many batam visitors stay in this hotel. Though this hotel is considered to be a new hotel, as it starts the operation in 2003, but the facilities and the services of the hotel can spoil all the guests, that make them to stay there again anytime they come to Batam. It just 10 minutes to get this hotel from Harbour Bay Sea Port, and around 30 minutes from Hang Nadim air port. For your information the management of this hotel has just renamed the hotel become Good Way Hotel from Mandarin Hotel. There is no reasons to be worried to stay in this hotel, one of my friends from Singapore explained. He told me that he always stays at this hotel anytime he comes to Batam. If you come from Hand Nadim Air Port, it will take about 25 minutes to arrive to this Hotel. This is a four Stars Hotel with so many pleasant facilities and services. The competitive prices offered by the Hotel also make people always come to stay at this hotel. Batam from my point of view

It was on September 2000 when i came to this City. As the plane that flied me from medan landed at Hang Nadim air port, the first comment that came out from my mouth was “Wow Batam is Great”. I said “Batam is great” because I saw the Hang Nadim air port is quite big. I could see more than 9 planes were available there and ready to fly. I was also told by one of my friends who fetched me from the air port that Hang Nadim air port has become an international airport and it made all of batam citizens proud, he added.

On my way to the place where I wanted to stay, i became more saluted to this city. The street from air port to orchid park was very good. My friend explained to me that he was really happy if he was asked by the bos to fetch someone from the air port. It was just because the Street was really good. There was no one hole all along the street, and there’s no traffic jam at all. “This is Batam Man”, he added, of course different from Medan. At that time I thought he was right, and until now I also still agree with him.

One day after I arrived here, my friend asked me to visit Muka Kuning. And that was my first time to see so many companies were located in one big area. My friend said that most of companies there produced Electronic equipments. And each company at least employs one thousand employees. After visited Muka Kuning, then we went to Turi Beach. It took 40 minutes away from Muka Kuning to this resort. I got surprised when we arrived there. The resort which was located at the northeast part of batam island was very beautiful. There were so many resorts available at this place. And the views were so amazing. You could see the sun sets from this place clearly.

Getting tired from Turi Beach, then we went to Nagoya to have dinner. At first I was confused with the name of “Nagoya”. I thought my friend was joking when he said that there was one place in Batam Named Nagoya. And I realized that he was not kidding after I reconfirmed to one of the servant who served us at that time. It was not difficult for us to find the place to eat as there were so many restaurants available in Nagoya.

It was more than 8 years ago. And Now Batam Island has changed a lot. From all aspects this city has changed. For some people, Batam Island is the heaven city, as they can find and get everything here. If they want to stay in resort, they can choose the resort that they like, as there are so many resort available here. If they want to go to Singapore, they just need around 40 minutes away to arrive there. If they want to shop in Batam, then can choose the mall that they like, because there are so many malls here.

In Short, there is no point for all westerners or other people not to come to this City, because this city provides everything to the citizens and visitors. As long as you have enough money, you can try everything here, from food, shopping, sports, hotels, cafes, or pubs. I suggest you all to come to batam and enjoy yourselves here. This is my point of view about Batam in General, and for the next post i will describe all the interesting places that available in batam one by one.

Logging in Yahoo Messenger with many Ids / Usernames

I am always asked by many of my friends of how to logging in Yahoo Messenger with many id. Explaining step by step to different person is very hard to do, therefore, I post this explanation in my blog, so for you guys who need this information can read and follow the steps. Watch the steps carefully, and I believe that if you follow it correctly, you will succeed to logging in Yahoo Messenger with more than one id. But it’s necessary to remind you that if you logging in too many id or usernames in your computer or laptop, the Cpu will be working slower.

How To Do It ?

Click Menu Start, then choose RUN, after that there will appear a new tab and you type REGEDIT in the empty box then click OK. The next step you have to do is to choose HYKEY_CURRENT_USER, then click SOFTWARE. After choosing the SOFTWARE you then choose YAHOO, then go to PAGER and choose TEST. At the right side of the TEST you do right click then click NEW after that you choose DWORD VALUE. After doing that, you should rename it to PLURAL then press ENTER. Double click the new Folder with the name of PLURAL then at the Volume Data, you just fill in to 1 and at the right side, for the base you choose DECIMAL, then click OK. After doing this, you may test to logging in Yahoo Messenger using all of your id. I do believe if you do the given steps above, you will be able to logging in more than one id in your computer. Watching Indonesian Tv Channels

You feel bored at the office? You want to watch television program but there’s none tv available at your office? Don’t worry, there is a new way you can take to watch the televison program. After you find the desired tab and channel, then you click it, the video will be loading for few seconds and it’s ready to watch.

Check your friends’ Status in Yahoo, Available or Invisible

As yahoo provides so many status inside it’s application, such as Available, Invisible to everyone, Busy etc, it might make us confused to check, whether our friend is online or not. It is so obvious that when someone’s status is available, it means that all his contact list can see him/her online. But when someone’s status is invisible, all of his contact list don’t know whether he’s offline or just make the status invisible. It goes without saying that sometimes we set the status to be invisible, probably we don’t want people know that we are online, or we just want to chat with someone. For you guys who want to know the status of your friend, there’s a simple way I let you know to check.

As I said before, it’s so simple, you just go to this link http://invisible-scanner.com, after that there’s a column with a sentence : Insert The Id Here, What you have to do is, you just click that column then key in your friend’s yahoo id, eg: bagudung27, after that you just press enter or click search. When you press search or press the enter button from your keyboard, the site will load for few seconds, then the result will come just below the Column. At the top, you will see your friends’ id status, then the Smiley, below the Smiley you will see: The Avatar, Add as friend, Send a message, and View profile.

So guys, if you think that your friends are making a joke of you by setting his yahoo status to be invisible to anyone, from now onwards you may check it and drop him/her a message informing her/him that you know he/she actually is online. I’ve tried this by myself, how about you?

Unlock Yahoo when your account has been locked (81003003)

It goes without saying that when our yahoo id have been locked by Yahoo, we feel so sad, and sometimes angry because we are unable to log in for around 24 hours. And it’s so obvious that our yahoo id is blocked because of there have been so many attempts to login to our yahoo account with incorrect password. So the Yahoo Team will block our account just to prevent unauthorized users from being able to access our account. The lock in your account will expire 24 hours after it was locked. So we can access our account again after 24 hours when the Yahoo Team has unlocked our account.

So guys, if you find this kind of problem in the future, don’t be afraid. What you need to do is refresh your cookie. But you probably get confused how you do it when the yahoo server that you are using has been blocked.

It’s actually so simple, you should find another yahoo server. For your information, yahoo has so many servers all over the world. There are more than 30 servers of yahoo that I know and I will put some of the servers here in my post. What you have to do is to paste one of these servers into your browser and then log in from the page you see. I’ve tried this method for several times, and it really works and how about you?
