Puluhan juta mengalir ke rekening tanpa harus mengantor dan pergi bekerja di perusahaan-perusahaan, Wowww bisnis ini sungguh luar biasa, itulah sedikit expresi yang terlontar dari seorang member (anggota) Pt. Woo Tekh Indonesia yakni Hotma Senja Mariati Nababan. Ibu yang biasa dipanggil Mama Naomi ini menceritakan pengalamannya dalam berbisnis Multi Level Marketing (MLM). Awalnya memang sepertinya berat mengembangkan aset kita sendiri (Jaringan kita sendiri) tetapi lama kelamaan terasa menjadi sangat mudah. Bisnis ini adalah bisnis saya, demikian paparnya, Kalau PT. Woo Tekh Indonesia hanyalah kendaraan bagi saya untuk meraih Sukses. Memang sangat masuk akal, setelah penulis lihat langsung beberapa transaksi yang masuk ke rekeningnya, Sungguh luar biasa. Betapi tidak? Hanya dengan melakukan bisnis dengan menggunakan Komputer dengan akses internet, serta Hp dari rumah saja, Puluhan juta bisa mengalir tiap bulannya ke rekeningnya yang ditransferkan oleh Perusahaan yang sudah tidak asing lagi ditelinga kita yaitu PT. Woo Tekh Indonesia.

Perusahaan Woo Tekh bukan saja menawarkan Marketing Plan yang luar biasa, tetapi mereka juga mengeluarkan ataupun memasarkan produk-produk yang sangat luar biasa. Dengan motto nya “Jangan dibeli kalau tidak berguna” saya sangat percaya diri menawarkan produk-produk tersebut kepada siapa saja yang saya lihat membutuhkannya, demikian Mama Naomi menambahkan. Salah satu produk Woo Tekh yang sangat luar biasa dan laku keras di pasaran adalah World Slimming Capsule Biolo (WSC) nya. Produk herbal seharga Rp. 200.000 / botol ini mampu mengguncangkan Indonesia. Ratusan ribu bahkan jutaan wanita-wanita Indonesia sudah membuktikannya. Lihat saja komentar-komentar yang ada di blog ibu dua orang anak ini, yaitu http://food-supplement-online.blogspot.com dan juga website resmi saya http://bisnis-wootekh.com semuanya menceritakan tentang pengalaman setelah memakai produk wsc tersebut dan cara pembelian wsc tersebut dari ibu Naomi. Sebelumnya saya tidak memakai produk wsc ini karna saya memang sudah langsing, tetapi supaya teman-teman saya percaya, akhirnya saya pakai juga, dan sekarang saya semakin langsing hahahaha ungkapnya sambil bercanda. World slimming Capsule ini perbotol berisi 60 kapsul, dan penggunaannya sangatlah mudah, yakni diminum 2 kapsul per hari setelah sarapan. Dan bagaimana cara pemakaiannya di bulan puasa ini? Nah pertanyaannya adalah, bagaimana uang mengalir ke rekening beliau dari bisnis ini? Ibu Naomi menjelaskan bahwa Bonus-bonus yang ditawarkan oleh Pt. Woo Tekh Indonesia sangat luar biasa. Dan bonus tersebut biasanya ditransfer ke rekening saya setiap tanggal 9-10 tiap bulannya, baik ke rekening Bank Central Asia (BCA) maupun Bank Mandiri. SISTEM PEMBERIAN BONUS :

A) Bonus Pelopor (50%)

Distributor Level 2 atau lebih mensponsori orang masuk ke bisnis Woo Tekh, dari distributor tersebut 11 generasi group distributor diatasnya dapat memperoleh bonus penghargaan bertahap dari penjualan dasar anggota sadar tersebut.
(1) Distributor level 2 atau lebih bisa langsung dapat 20% bonus pelopor
(2) Distributor level 3 atau lebih bisa langsung dapat 50% bonus pelopor

B) Bonus Langsung dan Tidak Langsung ( hingga 42%)

Distributor level 2 atau lebih memperoleh bonus langsung dari penjualan langsung di bulan itu sesuai dengan levelnya, juga mendapat bonus tidak langsung dari prestasi penjualan tak langsung dari group down line-nya (level bintang 2 presdir, bintang 1 presdir dan level 8 perbandingannya sama).

C. Bonus Replacement

A berhak mendapatkan bonus sponsor
50% x Rp.500.000,- = Rp.250.000,-
(didapat dari melakukan replacement mensponsori F kepada B)
dan bonus tidak langsung :
(apabila F belanja sebesar 1.300BV diluar BV pertama)
5% x Rp.1.300.000,-x 4 = Rp.65.000,-

Distributor level 5 atau lebih bila memiliki down line yang levelnya sama, setelah menyelesaikan Penjualan Tim dan Personal Sales bulan tersebut, dapat memperoleh bonus satu level dengan perbandingan sama dari penjualan down line satu level beberapa generasi dibawahnya.

E) Penghargaan Motivasi (1%)

(1) Distributor yang mencapai level 6 dalam waktu 4 bulan, terhitung semanjang bergabung di PT WOO TEKH Indonesia, Perusahaan akan memilih dari distributor yang berprestasi tersebut (yang tidak memiliki catatan perlakuan buruk / distributor yang tidak melanggar kode etik perusahaan) untuk mendapatkan penghargaan 1 unit sepeda motor dimana standard motor ditentukan oleh perusahaan.

F. Penghargaan Berprestasi

Berdasarkan kondisi distributor yang telah mencapai level 7 atau diatasnya, perusahaan akan memilih yang berprestasi ( yang tidak memiliki catatan perlakuan buruk dan yang tidak melanggar kode etik) untuk mengikuti TOUR INTERNASIONAL atau PENGHARGAAN 1 UNIT MOTOR. (pilih salah satu penghargaan)

G. Penghargaan Business Car ( Mobil mewah)

Cara 1 :

Distributor yang mencapai level 8 atau di atasnya yang dalam jangka waktu 16 bulan terhitung semenjak bergabung di Perusahaan. Dimana dalam jaringannya terdapat minimal 3 jalur jaringan berbeda dimana setiap jalur terdapat 1 distributor level 7 dengan omset TGS sebesar 1.600.000BV ( 1,6 Milyar) dengan demikian dapat memperoleh penghargaan Business Car (Type mobil di tentukan oleh perusahaan; Biasanya BMW ^_^)

Cara 2 :

Distributor yang mencapai level 8 atau di atasnya yang dalam jangka waktu 16 bulan terhitung semenjak bergabung di Perusahaan. Dimana dalam jaringannya terdapat minimal 2 Jalur jaringan berbeda dimana setiapjalur jaringan terdapat 1 distributor level 7, dengan TGS sebesar 3.200.000BV ( 3,2 Milyar), dengan demikian juga dapat memperoleh penghargaan Business Car.

H. Tunjangan Khusus

Distributor bintang 1 *Presdir Personal Salesnya bulan itu mencapai 800BV atau lebih, dan di dalam group – group distribusinya minimal 3 jaringan yang berbeda, dimana setiap jaringan memiliki 1distributor level 8 yang omset masing – masing jaringannya pada bulan tersebut mencapai kurang lebih 150.000BV (150jt), dengan demikian mendapatkan tunjangan Khusus senilai 2% dari total Omset Nasional bulan tersebut.

Comment : Berhubung karena memang kantor Speedline tidak ada di Indonesia apalagi di pulau batam, maka cara anggota speedline memprospek, menjaring ataupun merekrut anggota baru adalah dengan cara door to door (dari pintu ke pintu) khususnya mereka yang sudah berteman. Kalau tidak datang ke rumah, maka pertemuan biasanya dilakukan di cafe-cafe yang ada di beberapa mall di pulau batam misalnya di : Nagoya Hill, Mega Mall, Panbil Mall, BCS Mall, Plaza Aviari ataupun di Top 100 Tembesi. Sejauh ini penulis masih belum melihat Anggota ataupun Member Speedline melakukan OPP (Open Plan Presentation) rutin (mingguan) bisnis mereka di tempat-tempat pertemuan seperti di ruang meeting room hotel hotel seperti kebiasaan para pencinta MLM.

Intinya adalah : Bagaimana mungkin anda bisa percaya pada program investasi yang tidak masuk akal yang ditawarkan oleh sebuah perusahaan yang tidak memiliki izin dari pemerintah dan juga bukan anggota APLI dan sama sekali tidak memiliki kantor di Indonesia???

Perlu dicatat bahwa setelah anda memasukkan dana anda di Speedline, anda tidak langsung mendapatkan ROI pada hari itu juga ataupun keesokan harinya. Kenapa tidak? Yah katanya sih diputar oleh speedline dulu selama 1 minggu, apanya yang diputar speedline? Silahkan Tanya kepada sang pemilik, emangnya lotre diputar2 dulu, apalagi mutarnya sampe seminggu. The grand opening of this restaurant is held on Friday, july 23, 2010. Almost all the people who have been invited come to visit this restaurant. Mr. Jahuin Hutajulu, SE, the owner of the restaurant says that the restaurant is opened for those who like eating seafood with sea’s view. The restaurant itself is placed just nearby the fourth of Barelang Bridge. There are many kinds of lively fish, prawn, lobster, and gong-gong which are offered at this restaurant. All of them are placed in a special fish net put in the sea water in restorant’s area. So the visitors are free to choose what they want to eat. Although the location of the free hotspot in a grave area, but it does not influence batu aji citizen to use the service. If you go to that place, there will be two shelters available there. Each shelter has two benches, and can be placed by around 8 people.

Guys, I am sure you are already familiar with Mirota right? If you hear about mirota, willy-nilly you will remember Mirota Beach and the villas. But this time, I will not discuss about them, but the Soft Opening of Mirota Batam.. It was held on December 22, 2009 in in Kompleks Air Mas Blok E No 4 – 7 Batam Center. If you don’t know the area well, It’s just nearby Green Land, and Center Point Housing. There are many kinds of handicraft and batik clothes you may find there. And I tell you what? Stttttt, all the batik clothes and handicrafts are offerred with low price. If you are curious about them, just come and prove it by yourselve.

Mirota Batam in Air Mas also provides a café, if you feel hungry or thirsty while you do shopping there, you may come to the café, and have lunch or dinner there. The price of the food and drink there are also reasonable. While you are having your lunch or dinner there, you may also watch the television provided by the owner. Just in front of the Café, you may see the Minimarket, you may buy your daily needs there. The supermarket is also quite complete. And beside the supermarket, you will see many Batik clothes are hung around the room. Just near the Batik clothes area, there are many kinds of handicraft are sold there, such as Wayang, Seruling, Gamelan, Angklung, Gendang, Statues, Blankon, Centong, Necklaces. Bags, And many more. When I went there with my wife and daughter, we bought some batik there. Besides the batik looks very nice, the prices are also reasonable. I tell you what? I bought 3 batik clothes and my wife bought 2, we only spent Rp. 225.000 for all. It's very very cheap, isn't it ? Don't compare the price of Batik Clothes in Mirota Batam from Plaza or Mall. They are really far in different. If you go to Mall, and buy 1 batik from there, i am sure you will spend at least Rp 150.000 for 1 piece of Batik. Through this blog i don't suggest you not to buy batik from mall, but i just let you know where to find cheap batik in Batam.

There must be a reason why the owner of this Shop and Café (Mrs Imam) did the soft opening at the end of the year 2009. The only reason is because She wants to support the program of Visit Batam 2010. Hopefully by the presence of this Shop and Café which offer kinds of handicraft and batik clothes can attract many westerners to come to This scorpion island. Go Go Go Visit Batam 2010 ..........

Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan adalah satu-satunya punguan Marga yang membuat hari ulang tahun partangiangan di Indonesia. Perayaan ulang tahun Partangiangan ini telah berlangsung sejak 54 tahun yang lalu. Tepat tanggal 13 Oktober 1955 yang silam, Seluruh Pomparan Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan dari seluruh Dunia berkumpul di Siborong – borong untuk bersama – sama berdoa kepada Tuhan dan memohon pengampunan dan perubahan pada seluruh keturunan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan.

Mengapa memilih tanggal 13 Oktober? Bukan kah angka 13 merupakan angka sial bagi kebanyakan orang?? Mengapa tidak pada tanggal lainnya? Tidak ada kata sial bagi Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan. Justru tanggal 13 adalah hari yang sangat penuh berkah dan hari yang akan selalu di ingat Punguan ini sepanjang masa. Karena sejak tanggal 13 Oktober 1955 yang lalu Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan telah mengalami banyak perubahan di Seluruh Dunia.

Tidak ketinggalan di Pulau Batam, acara ulang tahun partangiangan Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan se Kota Batam pun dilaksanakan tepat pada tanggal 13 Oktober 2009 yang lalu. Dengan mengambil Thema HIDUP BAGI KEMULIAAN ALLAH, yang diambil dari Roma 11:36C, acara yang diadakan di Gereja HKBP Aek Nauli pun berjalan dengan hikmat. Pembawa Firman pada saat itu adalah St. Tumbur Sihombing, STh yang juga bekerja pada instansi pemerintah yakni Departemen Agama di Kota Batam.

Acara Ulang Tahun Partangiangan tahun 2009 ini memang telah disepakati diadakan di Tanjung Piayu. Sebab, Namanjabui (Yang menyediakan tempat) untuk tahun ini adalah Tanjung Piayu. Begitu juga dengan Panitia Pesta Perayaan Ulang Tahun tahun ini, hampir seluruhnya berasal dari Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Sektor Tanjung Piayu. Adapun Panitia Inti dalam acara ini yaitu: Ketua Umum: Henri Nababan, Sekretaris Umum: Rimmeld Anthonius Siregar, sementara bendahara umum dijabat oleh Mama Lidia (Hendrik Nababan / Br. Silaban).

Acara Ulang Tahun Partangiangan tahun ini dibuka tepat jam 10:30 yang dimulai dengan ibadah. Acara ibadah selesai tepat jam 1 siang. Setelah itu, acara dilanjutkan dengan makan siang bersama di aula Gedung HKBP Aek Nauli yang bertempat tepat di depan Gereja HKBP Aek Nauli Tanjung Piayu. Enam buah meja makan ukuran besar yang berisi makanan pun disediakan untuk melayani seluruh anggota yang hadir. Tampak seluruh anggota menikmati makanan yang dihidangkan oleh panitia pesta. Sementara para anggota makan siang, acara lelang pun dibuka yang dibawa oleh Pak Norman Nababan dari Batu Aji. Jutaan rupiah terkumpul dari lelang singkat yang diadakan pada saat itu. Setelah acara makan dan lelang, acara dilanjutkan dengan Manortor, yang mana yang manortor pertama sekali adalah dari Pengurus Pusat, Penasehat dan Panitia Pesta, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Hula Hula Nababan, dan seluruh anak nababan, setelah itu masuk dari Boru, bere, dan ibebere, dan yang terakhir adalah tortor dari Naposo Nababan.

Setelah acara manortor selesai, acara dilanjutkan dengan perayaan ulang tahun bagi seluruh anggota punguan yang berulang tahun tepat pada tanggal 13 oktober. Acara ini langsung dipimpin oleh Ketua Umum Pusat Nababan yaitu Amang Pangihutan Nababan. Setelah itu acara kemudian dilanjutkan denganperkenalan anggota baru. Tercatat lebih dari 15 keluarga nababan menjadi anggota baru pada saat itu. Penarikan undian lucky draw pun dimulai setelah acara perkenalan anggota baru. Hadiah 1 Unit Handphone merk Nokia terkinipun berpindah tangan dari panitia ke anggota yang mendapat undian tersebut. Acara Ulang Tahun Partangiangan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan tersebut pun ditutup tepat jam 6 sore. Semoga Punguan Borsak Mangatasi Nababan semakin maju dan semakin diberkati di seluruh dunia. Amin.

Receiving an email from Yahoo that explained Geocities (The free web site building service and community) will be closed make me a bit sad. There must be a reason why I am sad. It is because I have some free webs in this service and I still use those webs for my work. There is no other thing to do except transferring all the files to other free website building service. For your information, The Geocities sites will no longer be available on October 26, 2009. It means that on that day, there will be no one can access all sites in geocities.

For you Guys who still have files inside Geocities, just move all your important files before the given date, otherwise you will miss all the files. Though the geocities service will be closed, but as the customer of this service, i have to say, Thank you so much to Yahoo for providing this free web site so far. Are you confused where to spend your weekend? Getting confused where to go when you are in holiday? Don’t worry guys, you may visit and spend your time to Mirota Beach. Mirota Beach which is known as Pasir Putih or Pesisir Mirota or Pantai Mirota is now well known in Batam Island. If last time many people still never know this beach, but nowadays almost all batam citizen know this beach very well. From what I have seen so far, Mirota Beach is different from other interesting beaches in Batam Island such as Melayu Beach (Pantai Melayu), Sembulang Beach (Pantai Sembulang), Melur Beach (Pantai Melur).

Although the location of Mirota Beach is quite far from Batam Center or Nagoya, but it does not influence people not to come and visit this beach. It is about 53 Km from Batam Center to Mirota Beach, and it takes 55 Km from Nagoya to this place. You may get confused why I said in my post that Mirota Beach is the best place to spoil yourself. From my own experience in this beach, it really can spoil myself and family when we were there. It’s not only my family and I, but all the youth of the Church of Christiant Protestant in Indonesia (Gereja Kristen Protestan Indonesia, GKPI) Ressort Khusus Tanjung Piayu were also satisfied with the services of the management of Mirota Beach.

Well guys, now I would like to let you know why all the visitors of this beach feel satisfied when they visit this beach. The first one is. Mirota Beach has a very interesting beach view. The beach has white sands that enables the visitors to play there and swim in the beach too. Secondly, the management of this beach provide some villas to enable the visitors to stay overnight in this beach. If few months ago, when I came to this beach, there were only 3 villas that available in this beach, but now there are more than 8 villas that you may rent for staying overnight there. There are two types of the Villas, the first type is Standard Villa. If you want to rent this villa, you will be charged for Rp. 300,000 / night. The villa is quite large with one set sofa and 2 sets spring bed and full air conditioner. I bet you that you will feel comfortable when you stay in this villas. The second type is the Small Villa. This villa is smalle than the standard villa. The price of the villa to rent is also cheaper. It is only Rp. 200,000 / night. The small villa only has one set spring bed and full air conditioner, and the back side, there is a small and clean toilet too. And this villa is also full air conditioner. Thirdly, the management of the villa also provides Big size tent for visitors who wish to use the tent to sleep. As many young people like sleeping in the tents, the managements provide many tents to be rented. If you would like to use this tent, you only need to pay Rp. 200,000 / night and don’t worry, all sleeping equipments are provided by the management too.

If you guys just want to visit and enjoy the view of the beach, you are also allowed to enter the location. If you go there by motorcycle, you just need to pay Rp. 5000/Motorbike, if you go there by car you just need to pay Rp. 30,000/car, and if you go there by big bus, you need to pay Rp. 70,000/ bus. If you don't stay in the villas, there is no more charges except the charge at the entrance. Mirota Beach Management also provides parking area to enable the visitors to park their vehicles.

Nidji Shook Ocarina Batam

If you like Indonesian music so much, you should have known Group Band Nidji. Do you know guys? Group Band Nidji had a live performance on Sunday at the best tourism place in Batam which is usually called Mega Wisata Ocarina, Batam Centre. More than a thousand Nidjiholic Batam gathered in this place to see Nidji’s performance. This famous group band arrived at Mega Wisata Ocarina at 9:30pm, and the concert itself was started at 10:00pm. The first song which was sung by Giring was “Hapus Aku”, and while he was singing that song, almost all Nidjiholic followed to sing that song and raised up their hands. Although the ticket’s price was quite expensive, but many nidjiholic still came and saw this live concert.

There were six personnels of this group band, Namely, Giring as vocalist. Ariel (Guitar), Rama (Guitar), Andro (Bass), Adri (Drums), and Randy (Keyboards). Finish singing the song Hapus Aku, Giring then continued to the other song until he sang the song “Hapus Aku” which were followed by all Nidjiholic that came and saw the live concert at that time. Giring sang more than ten songs from Nidji’s album at that night, and he closed his performance with the song “Biarlah”. The concert was supported with the capacity of sound system 140.000 Watt, and Lighting 150,000 Watt. Although the concert was started a bit late, but all Nidjiholic looked very happy and satisfied with Nidji’s performance.

As we have known together that Mega Wisata Ocarina always invites all famous group bands and singers to come and have their performance at this place. Hopefully, this kind of activity will be done continually, so that all batam citizen can be satisfied to see their favourite singer or group bands in batam.

Guys, have you ever known or visited The Peak Café? If you have ever visited this café, what do you think about the menus there? And how is the view when you have lunch or dinner in that café, it’s very nice, isn’t it? Well guys, for you who haven’t known and visited this café yet, you should try this one. The Peak Café is located in Seraya, If you know Tahu Sumedang Café or Soponta Café, the Peak Café is just beside those Cafes. If you are from Batam Centre, Muka Kuning, Batu Aji, Tiban and Sekupang after you find “jajanan rujak” in Seraya, you will directly see the Peak Café. It’s about 200 meters from jajanan rujak seraya. Frankly i also never visit this cafe before, until Miss ryanes suggested me to try the menus and see the views from this cafe when i invited my friends to have dinner together at this cafe. Thank you so much sis Rayne, i hope we still have time to visit this cafe in the future :)

Besides many menus we can choose in this café, the price of all the menus are reasonable, for examples for all kinds of juice, the price is only Rp. 8000. While to have Ayam Penyet, you only need to spend Rp. 10.000/Porsion. You also can find Lumpia Semarang in this Café, As the owner of this café, Mr. Condro is from Semarang, So he is happy to be able to offers Lumpia Semarang in his Café.

By the way, what is the special Menu in this café? When I asked this question to the servant that served me when I visited this café, she said that almost all the menus are special, because when you orders them, the taste of them are absolutely delicious. Then she asked me to try “Pisang Sambal”. She said that many customers of this café always ask for Pisang Sambal when they visit this café. When I tried the Pisang Sambal, I got surprised, the taste is very good. If you ask me to describe what is the taste of it, I am afraid I could not explain it. Because it is very delicious that makes me out of words to describe it haha. However, I just suggest you to visit this café, and try the Pisang Sambal by yourself hehehe

While you are having your lunch or dinner in this café, you also can enjoy the view of some places in Batam from this café. If you bring your camera along with you to this Café, you also can take some pictures. The view is quite nice here. As the location of this Café is in high place, so it enables the visitors to see the view under this Café. Are you curious about this café? Just come to the Peak Cafe, and you will never regret that you ever come to this café. Tribun Batam Motor Community 2009

What would happen if all motor communities in Batam gather in one place? There would be many types of motor cycle will be parked at that place. Besides, there would be hot motor modifications discussion among all bikers that attended the event. And i tell you what? It really happened yesterday. A spectacular event for all Batam Motor Bikers was held on Sunday, June 14, 2009. This event was held by one of famous daily newspapers in Batam, Tribun Batam. There were many Motor Communities from many types of motor bikes took part of this event. Some of the communities were: Bikers Tiger Batam (BTB), Beat Community (Be@Com), Batam Satria FU 150 Community (BSC), Batam Classic, Batam Mio Club (BMC), JVOC, Funky Black, Batam Vision Community, CIBIC and CVT. More than seven hundred bikers gathered in My Mart yard, and a big and interesting stage was also built by the committees of the event.

This Motor Club Community event run very well yesterday. Many sexy dancers, free styles conducted by some free stylists from some motor clubs in batam really could attract all bikers and audience attention. All bikers felt satisfied with this event, and they said that they do hope this event would be held every year. At the end of the event, the committees of the event announced the winners of the Modification Contests. Finally the first winner was from Batam Mio Club (BMC), The second winner was also from BMC, while the third winner was from CIBIC.

The sponsorships of this event were Capella Honda, Poltabes Barelang, U mild, Raja Kopi Nagoya Hill, Bajaj, Leo Utama Motor, Silloutte, Gress Radio, Bundo Kanduang, Semenanjung Tv, and teh botol sosro. Guys, you still remember the Batam Blogger Competition, don’t you? Well, the announcement the winners of the competition has been held yesterday, Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the main stage of Batam City Square (BCS) Mall. Hundreds bloggers and visitors gather in BCS Mall to see the event. It’s not only the announcement the winners of the competition, but the Committees would also hold a talk show with very famous guest stars, such as Mr. Ria Saptarika (The Vice Mayor of Batam City Government), 2. The Talk Show which was leaded by Mr. Ismu Surizan (The Chief committee of this contest) and a dj from Kei Fm Radio Batam was running well. Mr. Ria Saptarika, Mr Antyo Rentjoko, Mr Enda Surya Nasution and Mr Hasan Aspahani have given a brief explanation about The world of Blogging. What are the advantages of blogging and what is the negative and positive effects from Blogging world have been explained clearly by them. There were more than eight questions asked by some batam bloggers members and the audience about Blog, and all the questions also were answered very well by the guest Stars.

And after the talk show time finished, the Chief Committee of this contest, Mr. Ismu Surizan announced all winners of the competition. And guess what? It really surprised me when Mr. Ismu announced that I was chosen as the first Winner of the competition from Category University Student/General. And Mr. Sapto Nugroho Hadi was chosen as the second winner while Mr Qisthon as the third Winner. And from Student Category, Haitsam Shiddiq Siregar was choosen as the first winner, M Haryadi Putra the second winner and finally Tovanio Dian Riswandi was chosen as the third winner.

You know guys what I got from this contest? I mean what’s the prize for the first winner? The BlackBerry Bold is now in My Hand with many vouchers from some famous cafes like Cool Juz and Jablai Café and some educations Centers. I am really sure that the BlackBerry Bold is a gift from God that was given to me through Batam Blogger Community. It goes without saying that Batam Blog Competition which has been held by the Batam Blogger Community is a proof to all people in Indonesia, especially for Batam citizens that Batam Blogger Community is still exists in Batam Island. Although this is the first competition in Batam, but it really works well. It can be shown by many bloggers in batam take parts of this competition, especially Students. This competition is devided into 2 categories. The first category is for Students (From Primary High School, Secondari High School and Senior High School), and the second category is for General and University Students. However, this competition is aimed for Batam Citizens only, or for those who stay in Batam island.

To succeed this competition, many things have been done by the Committees of this contest. Some of them are by doing some live programs in many radio station in Batam. They also published some announcement in many daily newspapers in Batam, such as Batam Pos and Tribun Batam. Some advertisements boards about this Competition are also made and placed in some main streets in Batam. All of these things are aimed so that all people in batam know and have a willing to join the competition. To make Batam Island becomes a digital island in Indonesia, many things have been done by the Batam City Government. One of them is by supporting this kind of event. Many bloggers including myself are curious about Alexa Rank. I often visit my friend’s blogs or webs, and I always find that they put alexa page rank in their websites or blogs. At first I have no idea about the importance of this Alexa Rank. After asking some questions to my friends, then I know a bit about it and start finding information from the king of searching, Mr. Google hahaha.

What is actually Alexa Rank?

To know more about the definition of Alexa Rank and how it works, I take some explanation directly from the official web of Alexa, and here it is :

"The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and data obtained from other, diverse traffic data sources, and is a combined measure of page views and users (reach). As a first step, Alexa computes the reach and number of page views for all sites on the Web on a daily basis. Please Release Ms Prita Mulyasari from Jail

Have you already heard about the case of Ms Prita Mulyasari? Some of you probably have heard about it, but I am sure, there are some people still haven’t known about her case. Ms Prita Mulyasari is now being jailed because of writing and sending her own experiences when she was taken care in one of famous hospitals in Tangerang, Indonesia through email. The name of the hospital is Omni International Hospital Alam Sutera Tangerang. This is really unacceptable. Sharing experiences is a common thing and it always happens in our daily life. But nowadays, you have to be more careful. This case can be a lesson for us to be more careful in the future.

I still don’t understand why Ms Prita Mulyasari must be jailed while her case is still being proceeded. It shows us as if she is a dangerous criminal who had done a very bad thing in our country and plan to escape from this country. However, we really know that her case is not that serious. It is only about a complaint to one of famous hospitals in indonesia, and it is quite common I guess.

My wife had ever a bad experience in one of famous hospitals in Indonesia. I knew that she suffered a mistreatment from the doctors in the hospital. But I did not say anthying to four specialist doctors who took care of my wife at that time. I was afraid if I made noise, they would not take care of my wife seriously. Though I had to spend a lot of money at that time, I just did it and follow all the intrustions given by the doctors, and Praise God, my wife finally could be recuperated.

Through this article, I would like to invite you all readers, bloggers, or whoever you are to support Ms Prita Mulyasari, and insist the government especially Police Department who is handling this case to release Ms Prita Mulyasari from jail. If you are living in Tangerang, Please support her by attending her case against Omni International Hospital Alam Sutera Tangerang in the Public Court in Tangerang on June 4, 2009. She’s absolutely innocent. Once again, SHE IS ABSOLUTELY INNOCENT !!!

Spend Your Weekend time in Mirota Beach

Although batam is known as one of industrial cities in Indonesia, but this scorpion island also has so many beautiful beaches. Some famous beaches which are always visited by batam citizen or foreigners have been discussed at my previous articles, such as Melayu Beach , Sekilak Beach , and Turi Beach. There are still some beaches that I haven’t explained in my blog such as Marina Beach, Saranggon Beach, and Mirota Beach. And for this time I don’t want to discuss all of these beaches but only Mirota Beach (Pantai Mirota). One of new beautiful beach that we can find in Batam. I am not sure whether you have ever heard about this Mirota Beach. As Mirota Beach is still new to be opened for public, so in my opinion only few people know and ever visit this interesting beach. However, through this article I would like to give you some information about mirota beach. This information will be useful for you before you decide to go and stay in the villa around the beach.

Mirota Beach is located in Galang Island, exactly at Sijantung Village. It is just 200 meters from the fifth bridge of Barelang. So if you want to come to this beach, after passing the fifth bridge, around 200 meters from it at the right side of the street there is a small street towards Mirota Beach. It will take 3 minutes from the corner to reach the beach. To enter the beach, you have to pay some money in the entrance. A motor bike is charged for Rp. 5000, a car and minibus are charged for Rp. 10,000, and a big bus is charged for Rp. 30,000. Mirota beach has a white sand and the water is very clean. It is a good place to swim I think. There are also some inner tubes to be rented. So this inner tube is usually used by people when they swim in the beach. This inner tube is rented for Rp. 10,000. Beside the inner tube, there are also some kayak boats which are rented for Rp. 30,000. If you want to stay in the beach, there are three villas available there to be rented. The price of the villa is Rp. 300,000 per night. All villas have the same prices, though the size of the villas are different one to another.

It is necessary for me to inform you that if you come to this beach in groups and plan to stay in the villas, you have to book the villas at least 2 or 3 weeks before your coming and you need to give the down payment to the management of Mirota Beach. It is because there are only three villas available there, and many people are interested in renting them. So it is not easy to rent the villas. For your information, one villa is only allowed to be placed by 7 persons. But it still can be negotiated with the management if you want to add more than 7 persons inside the villa. The Check in Time in the villa is at 1Pm and the Check out Time is 1Pm. So if you check in the villa on Saturday at 1Pm, you have to check out the villa on the next day, Sunday at 1Pm.

When I came to mirota beach to book some villas for an event which will be held on July 2009. I saw that all the villas had been rented at that time. There were 3 families stayed in the villas. From the information that I got from the management, they had been stayed in the villas for 3 days. As I need to check all the rooms in the villas, The management and I finally asked for a permission to the them to check all the facilities inside the villas. There is one living room and two bed rooms in the villa. And the bed rooms are equipped by an air conditioner. There is also a small kitchen in the villa to be used for cooking. The position of the kitchen is at the first floor. However if you want to use the gas and the gas stove, you have to pay Rp. 100,000 per day.

In conclusion, although Mirota Beach is still new to be opened for public, but I think this beach has a good prospect in tourism field in Batam. The existence of the villas in the beach make the visitors are able to stay over night there. I am really curious about this beach and the villa, that is why my friends and I have decided to hold an event in Mirota beach on July 18, 2009 and plan to stay over night in the villas. As one of industrial cities in Indonesia, Batam becomes people’s intention to visit. Many people from cities in Indonesia come to batam every months. From all the visitors who come to batam, more than 80% are fresh graduated who are looking for a job here. Most of them are graduated from Senior High School, Technical High School, Economical High School and the rest are graduated from some universities in Indonesia. I am sure there must be some reasons why they choose batam to find jobs for them.

Through some conversations that I have conducted with some people who come to batam for a new job. I can conclude that the main reason why people come to batam because they have information that it is very easy to find a job in batam. This information they got from their friends who are working in batam. Another reason is, As there are many companies that available in batam, they have many choices which companies and positions they will apply to. These two reasons cause many young people who have graduated from senior high school out side batam always dream that they will find a good job in batam. They even never check whether the information that they hear from their friends is true or not.

In fact, it is not that easy as their friends said to them. From what I have seen so far in Batam, there are many fresh graduated from senior high school come to batam and then try to find a job but finally they fail to find a job and go back to their villages. They really waste their money and time to come here. And most of them realize that it is not easy to find a job in batam after they experienced themselves. It is not only the graduation of Senior high school who fail to find a job in batam, many university graduations are unable to compete with other competitors too. However some qualified people succeed to find a job in batam.

What I am writing here is true. And don’t ever think that I provoke you not to come to this island for a new job. Through this article I would like to give you some steps, What you should prepare before you come to batam and succeed to get a job here. Many people fail to get a job in batam because they don’t have any skills. Certificates from schools are not enough when you apply for a new job in Batam. If you are from Senior High School, you should be able to operate computer well. Besides, knowing English language is a good point for you as English is an international language which is always used in many companies in Batam. For you who graduated from Technical High School, you must master the major that you studied. If your major is electricity, you must know about electricity well or if your major is electronic, you should be able to master this field. So when you are interviewed and asked some questions about electricity and electronic, you can answer all the questions well.

So for you guys who want to look for a job in Batam, there are some steps I suggest you to do before you come here and apply for a job. The first step is; you must prepare yourself with as many skills as possible. The second step is; you should be able to operate computer well and if it is possible Internet basics are important to learn. The third step is; you must be able to speak English, at least you can conduct a daily conversation. As these are general requirements for any vacancies in Batam.The next step is; Before you come to batam, please make sure that you have relatives to accompany you wherever you go in batam. This is very important for you because you have a guide as long as you stay here, and you can also save your money. The fifth step is; Bring all important documents, such as your identity card, courses certificate, and your diploma from primary and secondary school. The last step is; you should bring enough money. Because when you are applying for a new job, you will spend some money for transportation charges.

In conclusion, it is true that there are many companies available in batam island, and there are also many job vacancies that are offered by the companies here. However it is not true that finding a new job is an easy thing to do here. You must prepare yourself with many skills before you can succeed to get a job here. There are also many steps that you should prepare as I mentioned above. Once again that I have to insist you that only qualified applicants will succeed to get a good job here. Melayu Beach (Pantai Melayu) becomes one of famous beaches that available in Batam nowadays. There are many people come to this beach to spend their weekend time. There are some reasons why batam citizen or some foreigners come to visit this beautiful beach especially on Saturday and Sunday. The first reason is because the location of this beach is not too far from the Central City of Batam. The Second reason is because Melayu beach is very beautiful. This beach has white sands with a great sea view. Some more, the seawater is clean enough. That is why many people come to this beach only for swimming. The third reason is; this place is a good place to see the view of Twilight time. If a few years ago, people used to go to Melur Beach (Pantai Melur) to spend their weekend time, it is a bit different now, people prefer to choose Melayu Beach rather than Melur Beach. One of the reason is because the location of Melayu Beach is nearer than Melur Beach.

Melayu Beach is located in Rempang Island. It will take around 30 minutes from Tembesi intersection (Simpang Tembesi). So after passing the tembesi intersection heading to Barelang Bridge (the first bridge you may find) there is only one way you may follow towards this beach. It will take 20 minutes by car or motor bikes after you have passed the fourth bridge. Before you are allowed to enter this beach, there will be some people wait for you at the entrance. To enter the location of Melayu beach you need to pay them. The charge for 1 person is Rp. 2000, and a motor bike is charged Rp. 2000. Meanwhile a car is charged Rp. 5000. The charges sometimes can be negotiated, if we are in groups, the charge will be cheaper. It depends on how good you can bargain with them.

There are some facilities provided by the local citizen for the visitors to use, such as a mini house (without any walls) to prevent the visitors from the shine shines. The second facility is an inner tube (Ban Dalam). This inner tube is used by people to keep them float in the water. The third facility is a foot-ball. This foot-ball is usually rented by teenagers who want to play soccer in the beach. The last facilities is a floormat. The visitors who don’t want to sit on the sands, they rent a floormat to be used while they stay there. For your info, all of these facilities are not free of charge. If you want to use these facilities you have to pay. If you want to use a mini house, you need to pay Rp. 30000. There is no limit time when you use this mini house. So when you have booked this mini house, you can use it until you leave that location. The inner tube is rented for Rp. 10,000. Meanwhile the foot-ball is rented for Rp. 15,000 until you finish using it. It is also important to inform you that there are many small shops also near the beach, so if the visitors want to buy food and drinks they can buy them from the shops. And for your information, most of the owner of the shops do not live in that area, but they live in Panjang Island (Pulau Panjang). It is about 30 minutes by boat if you want to reach this island.

When my family and I came to this melayu beach, there were many people swam in the beach. I could see that many children played around with their parents in the white sands. And some teenagers played football along the beach. They all looked so happy to spend their time there. We stayed in Melayu Beach until 7pm, so we could enjoy the twilight time there. I also took some photos while the twilight came out at that time, the sky looked so beautiful. We went home at 7pm and there were still many people gathered in Melayu beach, and some were still swimming in the beach and i was not sure whether they wanted to stay over night there or not.

So it is obvious now that Melayu Beach becomes one of batam citizen favourite places to visit. Most of the visitors who come to this beach take this beach as a place to swim. And some people come to this beach intentionally to enjoy the twilight time. If you are curious about the twilight time in Melayu Beach, just come to this beach and experience it by yourself.

Employees Transportation in Batam

There is no doubt that Batam Island is known as an industrial city in Indonesia. Many investors from many countries come to this scorpion island to invest their money in many industries in Batam. Some investors come from Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, hongkong and united states. As there are many companies in batam, the need of employees to work in the companies become higher. For some companies, they recruit employees from other cities out side batam island, such as Jogjakarta, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Siantar and many more. And the other companies still recruit the local employees who stay in Batam Island.

Some employees who have been recruited to work in companies in batam from other cities out side batam are usually provided a place to stay. And a dormitory which is located inside the Muka Kuning area is the only one choice to keep the employees stay near with the companies where they work. The Dormitory is rented by the management of some companies in batam to be used by the employees to stay. And for some employees who don’t stay in a dormitory, they usually rent a house or a room in Some areas in Batam, such as Batu Aji, Tembesi, Tanjung Piayu, GMP, Sekupang, Tiban, Bengkong, Batam Centre, Kabil, Batu Besar and Nongsa.

For employees who stay in Dormitory Muka Kuning, there are two kinds of transportation they may use. The first transportation is Trans Kib. This Trans Kib is only aimed for all employees who stay in Muka Kuning Area. Therefore this bus is unable to take passengers from out side Muka Kuning Area. The word "KIB" here means Kawasan Industri Batam or we call it "Batam Industry area" in english. The second transportation is Ojek. Ojek is a motor bike transportation that is usually used by the employees when they are in a hurry. Because this ojek can run faster than the trans Kib. If trans Kib can take many passengers, Ojek is only able to take one passenger. But the charge of this transportation is higher than trans Kib.

Employees who don’t stay in dormitory, they have some choices to go to the companies where they work. The first choice is by Metro Trans. There are two types of Metro Trans, namely; Carry and Mini Bus. These busses are general transportation in Batam. There are two types of payment they can make from these transportations. The first one is, the employees pay anytime they use the service. And the second payment is, the employees pay monthly. For this case, Some employees rent a "Carry" and "Mini Bus" to take them to their company, and after they finish working, these two transportations also bring them back to their houses. There should be an agreement between the employees and the owner of the transportations before that thing can be done. The other transportation is big busses. There are many big busses which are used by the employees in batam to send them to the company and bring them back to their houses. For these big busses, the employees usually pay monthly. And same like the "Carry" and "Mini Bus", before the employees can use this service, there must be an agreement between the owner of these big busses and employees, such as, how much money the employees should pay per month, where should the employees wait for the bus everyday, How if the bus get problem on the way in picking up the employees, and many more points that employees and the driver should have agreed before they make a deal. By the way, there are some companies rent these big busses to take and send the employees to their houses. So the companies will pay monthly to the owner of the busses. And for some employees who have good position in their companies, they usually use companies car as their transportation. The driver of the car will pick them up from their houses to companies, and when they finish working, the driver will send them back to their houses. The last transportation is a cab. The employees also can use a cab to reach their companies. But when they use this transportation, they will spend extra money because the charge of this cab is more expensive compared with the other transportations.

In short, there are so many transportations which are used by the employees in Batam. The transportations are: Trans Kib, Ojek, Carry, Mini Bus, Big Bus, Company bus and cab. For employees who stay in Muka Kuning Area, they only use two kinds of transportations, namely; Trans Kib and Ojek. Meanwhile for employees who don’t stay in dormitory muka kuning, they may use, Carry, Mini Bus, Big Bus, Cab and ojek. And for some employees who have good position in their companies, they usually use their company bus.

Traditional Market in Mitra Raya Batam Centre

Have you already known that there is a traditional market in Mitra Raya Batam Centre? The traditional market is called Pasar Raya Batam Centre. If you stay in Batam Centre areas, I am sure you know this traditional market very well. Many people from Batam Centre areas such as, Anggrek Sari, Center Point Batam Centre, Taman Seruni Indah, Citra Indah, Green Land, Marcelia, Duta Mas, and Mitra Raya come to this market to do some shopping. Many fresh vegetables, fishes, meat, fruits and kinds of condiments are available at this market. The Pasar Raya traditional market that we can find in Mitra Raya is different from other traditional markets such as Pasar pagi like what we can see in Jodoh, just beside Top 100 every morning, penuin, sekupang and bengkong. The Difference is If Pasar Pagi traditional market in Jodoh takes place in the edge of a street, The Pasar Raya Traditional Market takes place in a big building that is provided by the property developer of Mitra Raya.

The Pasar Raya traditional market is located in the housing of Mitra Raya Batam Centre. It’s just in front of Anggrek Sari housing. If you are from Duta Mas Housing, and want to go to this traditional market, you should go to Simpang Frengky (Frengky Intersection) direction, then when you are at that intersection, you must turn left, after that you will find Anggrek Sari Housing at the left side, and Mitra Raya Housing at the right Side, then you turn right to reach the market. As I said before that Pasar Raya traditional market is at a big building in Mitra. And there are many shops available in the building. All the shops are sold by the property developer of Mitra Raya. At the middle of the building there is a big, free spaces that are rented to the sellers. And many tenants use this big space to sell their stuffs

Pasar Raya Traditional Market becomes the only one market that is visited by people who stay in Batam Centre areas, as there is no more market that we can find in Batam Centre. According to me this traditional market is cleaner than other traditional markets that we can find in batam and this traditional market is also considered to be a complete market where you can find anything here with competitive prices. For your information, still at the same building in Pasar Raya Traditional Market, there are some shops that sell many kinds of foods and drinks. That is why many people take their breakfast here after they have finish doing some shopping in the market.

So it goes without saying that Pasar Raya Traditional market which is located in Mitra Raya Housing Batam Centre becomes the only one market that is visited by all people who stay in Batam Centre areas. For instance, For Handphone type Nokia E90 Communicator if the price offered in shop A is Rp 7,200,000, the price offered in shop B could be Rp. 7,000,000 or less than it. It depends on how good you can chaffer the stuffs. If you don’t like buying the stuffs from Shop A, you can go to Shop B, C or D. because of so many electronic shops available in the plaza, I even cannot count them all. Shipping your vehicles to Batam Island by Ferry Roro

Ferry Roro is not a new thing for people who live in Bintan Island. Roro itself stands for Roll in Roll out. People from Tanjung Pinang, Lobam, Lagoi, Tanjung Uban who usually go to batam and bring their vehicles use this ferry roro as a sea transportation. However, ferry roro becomes their choice when they are planning to go to Batam Island and bring their vehicles along with them nowadays. The service of this ferry has been improved very well recently. If a few years ago, the arrival and departure schedule from batam to tanjung uban or from tanjung uban to batam was only twice in a week, it has been changed a lot now. The new arrival and departure schedule is twice in a day so not twice in a week anymore. The first departure schedule from tanjung uban to batam is at 8am, and the second departure schedule is 1pm. While the first arrival schedule of the ferry roro from Batam to Tanjung Uban is at 11am and and the second arrival schedule is 2pm. While the first departure schedule from Batam to Tanjung Uban is at 10am and the second departure schedule is at 4pm. And the first arrival schedule from Tanjung Uban to Batam is at 9am, and the second arrival schedule is 2pm.

Many people from Tanjung pinang, lobam, lagoi and Tanjung Uban come to batam for business and they bring their cars or motor bikes as their vehicles in Batam. The presence and the new departure and arrival schedule of this ferry roro in Batam also makes some motor bikers happy. There must be some reasons why they are happy. The first reason is, they are now able to do a touring from Batam to Bintan Island anytime they want because the departure and arrival schedule time of this ferry roro is twice in a day, so the bikers can arrange the time following that schedule. The second reason is, they don’t need to spend a lot of money to ship their motor cycle to Tanjung Uban as what they did in a few years ago. The third reason is, they don’t need to take many days when they do touring to Bintan. If four years ago they used to take 4 days when they did a touring from Batam to Bintan Island, it was because the departure schedule from Batam to Tanjung Uban and From Tanjung Uban to Batam was only twice in a week. So they needed four days only to wait for the ferry to bring them back to Batam.

For you guys who want to use this ferry roro, you must buy a ticket first before you are allowed to enter it. The ticket can be bought from some ticket counters that available near the Telaga Punggur Sea Port. The price of the ticket for an adult is Rp. 14,500, children Rp. 11,500. Motor bike Rp. 24,000 Car Rp. 173,500, and truck Rp. 272,500 plus the driver (For truck only). Those prices only for one way. All people who use this transportation together with their vehicles are protected by insurance of Jasa Raharja. So if anything happens to all passengers and their vehicles, the insurance of Jasa Raharja will be the one who takes responsibility of it.

Finally, the presence and the new schedule of this Ferry Roro in batam and tanjung uban makes people happy and enable them to bring their vehicles from batam to bintan island, and from bintan to batam island. If you are from Bintan Island and plan to go to batam with this ferry roro, you should go to Tanjung Uban, because this ferry sea port in bintan island is in Tanjung Uban. Then from Tanjung Uban this ferry will take you to Telaga Punggur Batam sea port. And for you guys who are from Batam island and plan to go to Tanjung Pinang, Lobam, Lagoi or any other places in Bintan with your vehicles, you should go to Telaga Punggur sea port first, the ferry will take you from telaga punggur sea port to Tanjung uban sea port. Then from Tanjung uban you can continue your journey to all places you want to visit by your car or motor bikes. A wise word says that Prevention is better than healing. And some people also say that Prevention is cheaper than healing. I myself agree with those statements. For this opportunity I would like to share with you how our health becomes the most important thing to take care as long as we are still alive and I also want to share with you some hospitals to do some medical check up in Batam. When you are health, you can do anything; you can do your works, do some sports, watch movies, play around with friends or your children, and many more. But when you are sick, you will not be able to do your works, and probably what you can do just lay down in your bed. So make sure that you always check or control your health regularly to hospital to keep your health in a good condition. And to do the medical check up, you surely need hospital or other medical clinics to visit.

There are many hospitals that we can find in Batam. Some of them are; Awal Bross Hospital (Rumah Sakit Awal Bross), Otorita Batam Hospital (Rumah Sakit Otorita Batam), Budi Kemuliaan Hospital (Rumah Sakit Budi Kemuliaan), Harapan Bunda Hospital (Rumah Sakit Harapan Bunda). These four hospitals are considered to be big hospitals in batam. Many batam citizen come to these four hospitals to check their health or to send their sick families to have good medical treatments.

Awal Bross Hospital is located in Batam Center. It is just nearby the Jam intersection (Simpang Jam). If you are from Batam Center Sea Port, you just need around 7 (seven) minutes to reach this hospital by car or motor bike. Although this hospital is still new, but it does not mean that this hospital can not compete with other hospitals in Batam. According to some of my friends that I asked their opinion about this hospital a few days ago, Awal Bross is one of the best hospitals in Batam which has complete and modern medical equipments or facilities. Many medical doctors who work at this hospital are from overseas especially from Singapore. All the patients here are treated well by the doctors and the nurses as well. It can be proved that many people come to this hospital for medical check up or to recuperate them. However high medical treatment cost will not be a big problem for all patients who choose this hospital.

The Second hospital is Otorita Batam Hospital. This hospital is located in Sekupang, and it is not far from Sekupang International Sea Port. Built in 1971, this hospital is very famous for Batam Citizen. This hospital also has complete and modern medical facilities. Many ill and injured people come to this hospital for recovery. This hospital also accept people for annual medical check up with reasonable charge. For your info, some companies in Batam refer their ill employees to this hospital to have good medical treatments.

The third hospital is Budi Kemuliaan Hospital. This hospital is located in Pelita batam. It is just nearby Kartini Senior High School. Because of the strategic location, many people in Nagoya, Pelita and Jodoh come to this hospital when they are sick or they come only for medical check up. This hospital also has complete medical facilities to support their services to the patients. And it is same like Otorita Batam hospital, some of companies in batam also refer their ill employees to this hospital for recovery.

The last hospital is Harapan Bunda Hospital. This Hospital is also located in Pelita Batam. And it’s not far from Budi Kemuliaan Hospital. It is only about 300 kilometers away. If you are from Batam Center sea port, you will take around 15 minutes to get this hospital, while if you are from Hand Nadim Air Port, you will take around 35 minutes to reach this hospital by car or motor bike. Many people around Nagoya areas come to this hospital for medical treatment when they are sick. This hospital also has a good service to all of the patients.

There are actually many hospitals available in Batam Island, but there are only four hospitals that I think have complete and modern medical equipments or facilities inside the hospitals. These four hospitals become batam citizens’ choices when they get sick. From those hospitals, I think Awal Bross hospital is the favourite hospital for rich people or middle to upper class in Batam to have the best medical treatment when they are sick. While Otorita Batam Hospital, Budi Kemuliaan Hospital and Harapan Bunda Hospital become the choice for lower to midle class in Batam.

Can Batam become the Second Bali in Indonesia?

If you see the title above, you probably get confused about it. I choose this topic because I would like to compare between Batam and Bali Island. Besides, there is a hope in my mind that Batam will become the second Bali in the future. If we talk about Bali, I guess all of you know about this Island. And it is not only you, even westerners know this island very well. And for some foreigners, they know Bali better than Indonesia. It is a bit funny, isn’t it? But that is the right fact. Some westerners don’t know that Bali is located in one of provinces in Indonesia.

Bali is known by many westerners all over the world because of it’s beauty. There are so many interesting places that we may find there such as Kuta Beach (Pantai Kuta), Dreamland Beach (Pantai Dreamland), Lovina Beach (Pantai Lovina), Sanur Beach (Pantai Sanur), Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Kintamani, and many more. Beside that we also can find so many famous hotels and resorts with standard international services such as Kuta Sea View Cottage, Ramada Bintang Bali Resort, Ramada Resort Benoa, Parigata Resort, Sanur Beach Hotel, Barong Resort and many more. Those hotels and resorts are located at different areas near some interesting places I mentioned above.

If we compare Bali from Batam, they are actually not far in difference. If Bali has so many famous hotels and resorts that can attract westerners to visit that place, batam also has some great hotels and resorts, such as Planet Holiday Hotel, Good Way Hotel, Harmony Hotel, Novotel Hotel, Nagoya Plaza Hotel, I Hotel, Batam View Hotel, Pacific Palace, and Harris Hotel, All the famous hotels can be seen from my previous post titled: Hotels in Batam. And some of famous Resorts that available in batam are: Turi Beach Resort, Nongsa Point Resort, KTM Resort and Sijori Resort.

In Batam, you also may see some interesting places to visit, such as Sekilak Beach (Pantai Sekilak), Kampung Melayu Beach (Pantai Kampung Melayu), Melur Beach (Pantai Melur), Camp Vietnam, Barelang Bridge (Jembatan Barelang). Although these places are not as famous as what we can see I Bali, but I think these interesting places also can attract foreigners to come to Batam. The problem is, how to make these interesting places become better and finally people will say that these places are as nice as like what we can see in Bali. In my opinion, if Batam City Government and Batam Tourism Department take this case seriously I am sure that Tourism in Batam can be more famous. And there will be more foreigners come to visit batam to see the places.

In Short, It is important for Batam City Government and Batam Tourism Department to do some improvements in Tourism field in order to make all the interesting places in Batam become more famous. The more interesting places they offer, the more foreigners they get to come to this island. For me, If we are trying hard to make some improvements in tourism field, I am sure Batam Island will be as famous as Bali in the field of tourism. And there will be many westerners come to this island to visit all the interesting places that we offer them. Finally, we will be ready to Say: Welcome to Visit Batam 2010 !!!

Batam Skateboard Community (BASCOM)

Do you like playing skateboard? Are you confused where to find a Skateboard Community in Batam? Don’t worry guys, for you who like playing skateboard, This information will be useful. There is only one skateboard community that we can find in Batam. The name of the community is Batam Skateboard Community (BASCOM). This community was formed on August 22, 2001. Because of having the same hobbies and other positive activities, they formed the community in MyMart Carnaval Mall. This Skateboard community has 26 members currently. And most of the members are teenagers. However, this community accept the members from any type of ages.

When I came to see this community in Engku Putri Park, Batam Center, there were many people saw their performances. There were around 22 members there playing the skateboard around the park. Some of the beginners tried to do the Ollie style, 180Degree Ollie, Shove it and Kick flip. They tried all those styles several times to make them become familiar with the styles. According to Jacob who is usually called Jaja by his friends and one of a member of this community, these four styles are aimed for beginners. So before they go to further styles, they should master all of these four styles. He added that if beginners do these four styles continually, they will master these styles in three months.

As this is not a new community, there are so many activities they have already done. Some of them are: 1. Held a performance in Sound of Alternativesia 1, 2, 3, 4 in Circle K Nagoya. 2. Held a performance in the program of Attack for Valentine in Center Point Nagoya, and Held a performance in at the program of Bazaar in Sumatera Expo. Beside that, this community ever became one of entrants in Batam Reborn Competition in 2008, and Game of Skate Competition still in 2008. By the way, For your information this community will also show their performance in Changcuter new video clip which will be held on May 5, 2009 in Coastarina Batam Center.

The members of this community usually gather in Engku Putri Park Batam Center everyday, from 5pm until 11pm. This place becomes a favourite place for them to practice because of the location is so strategic. Besides, the condition of the place also supports them to use their skateboards to play. There are many equipments they use while they are playing this sport. Some of them are: Pyramid, Hand Rail and Quarter. All of the equipments they made by themselves. For Skateboard, they usually buy it from Singapore, Padang (Substance Shop), Jakarta or Bandung. They buy the skateboard in parts, not a complete one. The main requirement is only having a skate board. Turi Beach, One of The Famous Resorts In Batam

Although Batam Island is just a small island in Riau Archipelago, but this island has many famous resorts which are always visited by many foreigners from many countries. One of the famous resorts is Turi Beach Resort. Turi Beach is located in Nongsa. It is about 20 minutes away from Hang Nadim air port by car. This resort is very famous in batam, that is why many foreigners choose this resort to stay. There could be some reasons why this resort become a favourite resort in Batam. Turi Beach Resort’s management really like spoiling the customers with all facilities that are available in this resort. There are many types of the rooms offered for the guests to stay. And I am sure, all the rooms’ types are equipped with good facilities inside. Besides, the management also provides some Water Sport Facilities such as kayaking, Jet Skiing, Banana Boat, Water Skiing and many more. Another reason is, there are many water sports and event facilities provided by the managements, so the guests really can spend their time here to do what sports or events they like to play. A Small Zoo at Golden Prawn Batam Island

Have you ever been in Bengkong Laut? If you are a batam citizen I am sure you know this area very well. But for all of you who haven’t come to this place yet, from this blog I suggest you to come to this place. There is a famous Sea Food Restaurant here that is always visited by many people from many areas in Batam. If you are planning to come to this restaurant in groups, it is better for you to book the tables and arrange the menu you want to eat first. Because if you don’t book it, I am afraid you will not have any tables to sit here. Beside the restaurant, there is a big hotel named Golden Prawn Hotel. When I came to this place two days ago, there were many guests stayed here. The facilities of this hotel are also quite good. But for this time, I will not talk about Golden Prawn Hotel and Restaurant, but I just would like to let you know about a small zoo that you may see there.

The small zoo is just located at the left side of the entrance. When you enter the entrance, just go ahead straight, then you should park your car or your motor bike at the parking area that is available there. The parking area is quite large at this place, so don't worry that you will not have any space to park your car or motor bike. From the parking area, you just need to walk around 20 meters to the mini zoo. There are many kinds of animal that you may see there, such as birds, snakes, monkeys, fishes, chipmunks, and many more. All of the animals are kept in a large cage. Different kinds of animal will have a different cage. And all cages are designed quite well that make the animals unable to escape from the cages.

If you come to this place at the afternoon, you will see many people at this place. As this small zoo is opened for public and is aimed for all people especially for those who want to stay in the Hotel or who eat at the restaurant, so to enter the zoo, we don’t have have to pay anything because it is absolutely free of charge. Almost all of the visitors who see the zoo at the afternoon are Bengkong Laut citizens and the rest are the guests who stay in the Golden Prawn Hotel. This small Zoo becomes an interesting place for the guests, especially for the children. The existence of this small zoo becomes an attraction for all people to visit the Golden Prawn Hotel and Restaurant.

So for you guys who are curious to know about this small zoo, just come to Golden Prawn. I remind you once again that to enter and see this zoo, you don’t have to pay anthying. By the way, if you haven’t tried the sea food in the restaurant, you also may try, I am sure you will feel satisfied to have lunch or dinner there. Because all the menus that are available there are quite complete, and from my experience to have dinner there, the foods were very delicious. Although the price of the foods are expensive, but it will not be a big problem from people to come to this place. Please come and prove it by yourself, won’t you?

Honda Club Gathering and Fun Rally in Batam

One of the biggest motor bikes main dealers in Batam will have a big event this month. It is Capella Dinamik Nusanatara Company which will hold this interesting program. My writing at this time is only aimed for foreigners all over the world. I choose this topic at my post because I want to give you some information about batam and to challenge you to come to Batam Island. There are many things that make Batam becomes a suitable place for you to visit, Besides for spending your holidays to enjoy all the beautiful views, hotels, resorts, and restaurants, you may also do some businesses in this island. Shopping some new brands from many products offered in some shopping centers in Batam is also another reason why you should come to batam. All of them really can spoil you and can make you stay longer in this small island. There are also many public services built to welcome you to visit Batam. Beside that, some easiness to reach this island also one of attractions for you to come to this scorpion island.

Since Batam Island location is just nearby Singapore, it will make you come to this place easily. There are many ways you may take to reach this island. If you are from Singapore, I suggest you to use ferry to come here. It only takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour to get here. If you are from Malaysia, i advise you to use ferry too to come to Batam. It will take 90 minutes to 2 hours from Malaysia to Batam. There are so many destination sea ports you may choose, Namely: Batam Center International Sea Port, Sekupang Sea Port, Harbour Bay Sea Port, Nongsa Pura Sea Port and the last sea port is Water Front Marina Sea Port. Traffic Lights in Batam

As we have known together that there are many traffic lights we may find in Batam. These traffic lights are usually placed in many intersections especially in main roads of Batam, for instances: Simpang Jam, Simpang Sei Panas Batam Center, Simpang Baloi, Simpang Nagoya, Simpang Jodoh, Simpang Pelita, Simpang Kabil, Simpang Franky, Simpang Duta Mas, Simpang Panbil, and many more. All of the traffic lights mentioned above can work well so far. In some intersections we also may see small police station are built there. The stations are used by the policemen to monitor the intersections. Sometimes, when the batam public electricity is suddenly off, and It causes the traffic lights don’t work, the Policemen will be the one who guide the car drivers and motor bike riders to take their turn to pass the intersections. Although it seldom happens in Batam, but all the policemen who stay at the station are usually alert to do their jobs.

The traffic lights are not new thing for us, especially for car drivers and motor bike riders. When we had an examination to have driving license, the meaning of these traffic lights were some of the questions to answer. Well, though I know that all of you have known the meaning of each light, but I think I need to explain again here, in case some of you still don’t understand the meaning of each light. It is obvious that there are three colours of traffic lights, namely: Red colour, amber colour and Green colour. The Red light colour means that the drivers or riders are warned to stop their vehicles. The amber light colour means to get alert. There are two meaning of the amber light here. The first meaning is, When the light is green, then it suddenly changes to amber, it means that the drivers and riders are warned to get ready to stop, until the light really changes to red colour then the drivers and riders must stop their vehicles. Meanwhile when the light is red, and it suddenly changes to amber, it means that the drivers and riders are warned to get ready to pass the intersection, until the light really changes to green, then the drivers and riders are allowed to pass it. The Green light colour means the car drivers or motor bike riders are allowed to pass the intersection. It is a sign to drivers and riders to move their vehicles and pass the intersection carefully.

It is clear that the function of the traffic lights is to give sign to the drivers and riders when they are in the intersection. We can imagine if there is no traffic lights in the intersection, people will pass the intersection as they like, and i am sure there may many accidents occurs in the road. As good drivers and riders, we should obey the traffic lights when we are in the intersection besides we also have to be careful when we are driving or riding our vehicles.

As i said before that there are many traffic lights installed in every intersection in Batam Island. These traffic lights cost a lot of money. As a good citizen, we should keep this facilities well. We should realize that these facilities are built and aimed only for us. The most important thing we have to do is to obey the traffic lights when we are still driving or riding our vehicles. And make sure when you want to stop your vehicles in the intersections, make sure you stop behind the white lines of the road. We should know some consequences when we break the traffic lights. Besides it can injure ourselves, we also can be caught by the policemen for breaking it. So Never break the traffic lights if you still love yourself and your family and be a good driver and rider.

Sekilak Beach

You probably ever heard about the name of Sekilak Beach. The beach which is located in Batu Besar becomes one of batam citizen tourism destination at the week end. The area of this beach is quite large. This beach is managed by a company, named Sekilak. That is why the name of the beach becomes Sekilak Beach. The Sekilak beach is one of famous beaches in Batam. There are many people come to this beach everyday, especially on saturday and sunday. To enter this beach, every guest only needs to pay for Rp. 6000. This payment includes life and accident insurance as long as the guests are still in this area. So the visitors are suggested to keep the ticket well when they are in Sekilak area, in case any bad things happen to them, the company will give a compensation to the guests as long as they are able to show the ticket.

There are many employees from many companies come to this place for recreation. they usually come to this beach in groups. Sometimes they make some programs in this beach, such as games, singing contest, and barbecue. And If you stay in nagoya, and you are planning to come to this beach, you will take around 40 minutes away to reach this beach by car. And for people who stay in air port area, you will only take about 15 minutes to reach this beautiful beach. as i said before that there are so many people come to this place on saturday and sunday, so if you want to come and plan to make some games here, you must come to this place early otherwise you will not find any places to make games. It means people who come earlier will freely choose the place they want to stay.

Swimming in this beach is very pleasant. As long as you can swim, you don't have to be afraid to swim in the beach, some more there are many life guards equipped with life-jacket keep their eyes on visitors when the visitors are swimming. So if some thing happen, they will directly save you from the beach. But you also have to be careful, and take a good care of yourself well when you are there.

From what I have seen in this location, this place is devided into three interesting areas. The first area is usually used for people to see the sea view. We can see the best sea view from here. Besides, this place is a good location to take some photos. This area is quite windy, so it’s also nice to relax here. The second area is called Tanjung Mak Dara. This is the best place you can visit to play the sea sands. You can use sand to form anything you like. The last area is called Tanjung Penyu. There are so many games of boat you may find here, such as Dragon Boat (Perahu Naga), Kayak, and Duck Boat (Perahu Bebek). But remember, before you are allowed to play some games here, you must buy the ticket first. Different games will have different ticket price. But don’t worry, the ticket price for all of the games are still reasonable.

It is so clear that many people in batam go to Sekilak Beach for relaxes and the most favourite days for people to come to this place are Saturday and Sunday. Some interesting boat games offered by the management of the Sekilak really can attract people to visit this beach. If you haven’t come here yet, and want to try the kayak, duck boat and dragon boat, you can come here and enjoy all the facilities.

Futsal Center in Ex-Matahari Building in Batam Center

Nowadays, Futsal becomes one of famous sports in Batam. There are many futsal’s arenas we can find in Batam, but for this opportunity, I would like to let you know the Futsal Center in ex-matahari building. This arena is located in Batam Center, just nearby My Mart Building. The sport which is played by 5 players each team is now liked by many people in Batam. This sport becomes a favourite sport especially for teenagers. That is why, if you go to Futsal arena in exs matahari building in Batam Center, you will find many people there playing this sport.

If you really like this sport, you may come to this place to play it with your friends. There are many futsal fields you can find inside the building. And before you are able to play in this arena, you must book the field first, otherwise you will not be allowed to use the field. As many people like playing fustal in this arena, almost all the fields have been booked already. So once again, it is not easy for you to play in this arena, as you must book the field first at least three days before you will use the field. The price for using the field here is also quite cheap if we compare with other futsal arena in Batam.

There are many reasons why people like playing the futsal in this place. The first reason is because this place provides so many futsal fields that enables people to choose which field they want to book for playing this game. So when you want to book the field, the management will offer you some available free fields to choose, but the fields that have been booked by other people will not be given to you anymore and no one is allowed to use the booked fields. The second reason is because the price for renting this field is reasonable. Beside that, if you always use the fields, you probably get some discounts from the management. The last reason is because the facilities of all futsal fields that are available here are very good. The imitation grass is very soft that will not hurt you when you fall down in the field.

There is not only Futsal arena you may find in this ex-matahari building, you also can find billiard arena here. There are some billiard tables offered by the managements to all of the guests. I think this is also one of the reasons, why people like coming here rather than go to other place. When you are thirsty or hungry, you also can find a restaurant that sells complete menu. A parking area is also provided by the management for the customers, unfortunately it is only for motor bikes meanwhile for cars, the customers usually park their cars at the edge of the main road.

It goes without saying that playing futsal now becomes a new hobby for many people in batam. This is one of the sports that can keep our body healthy. It is also obvious that many people choose Futsal arena in ex-Batam Center Building to play the sport. If you really like playing this sport, and you haven’t played it in this field yet, you may come to this place and enjoy yourself to play the sport here. I am sure, you will not regret to play futsal here.

As we have known together that next year will be the year of Visit Batam 2010 as planned by the Batam City Government (Pemko Batam). This program is aimed by the Batam City Government and Batam Tourism Department to introduce Batam Island to all over the world. Beside that, Some preparations have been made to succeed this program. Some associations that available in batam also support the year of visit batam 2010. They are : Batam Hotel and Restaurants Association, Indonesian Traveling Company Association, Indonesian convention and Congress Association and Batam Entertainment service Association. These four associations have declared to support the program by presenting some Indonesian traditional dances, some foreign dances, and to hold some international meeting to attract foreigners to come to batam

In supporting the program of visit batam 2010, almost all of the hotels in batam make the best preparation. They improve their service to the guests to make them satisfied to stay in the hotel. Many hotels in batam have international standard service. Some of them are: Planet Holiday Hotel, Vista Hotel, Harris Hotel, Good Way Hotel, I Hotel, Harmony Hotel, Novotel Hotel and Grand Majesty Hotel. All of these hotels are ready to welcome all of the foreigners that will come to Batam. The restaurants are also prepared well by the management of the hotels. Firstly, we can keep all the facilities provided by the Batam City government well. Secondly, we should prepare ourselves by learning english in order to be able to answer westerners question in case they ask us questions when they meet us in some places. And the last thing that we should do is learning some folk stories that are available in batam island. This is important for us to explain them the right folk stories in batam.

Finally, as good batam citizens, let us support the program of Visit Batam 2010 by doing some positive things that I have explained above. I am sure with many supporting from many associations and the local citizen, this program will succeed well. May many foreigners will come to our small island, and may this island become one of the best island in tourism industry in Indonesia.

Hanging Out in Ocarina

Ocarina which is located in Batam Center becomes the most favourite place for batam citizen to spend their time for recreation. There are some interested places you can find in this place. The best sea view is one of attractions given by Ocarina besides many playing parks for children are also available here. Ocarina is only 10 minutes away from batam center sea port by car, and it takes 30 minutes away from Hang Nadim air port. Although, ocarina is considered to be a new recreation place in batam, but it really can attract batam citizen to come to this nice place.

If you come to this place in the afternoon, you will see many people playing here especially teenagers and children. This place becomes the best place for teenagers to hang out. Most of them like riding bicycle that they rent from here. They usually ride the bicycle in group. As there are some parks to play, many children also play here with their parents. Many visitors come here with their children. This place really succeed to spoil their visitors with some interesting playing arenas which are used children for playing. Beside that, we also can see many shops that sell food, drinks or snacks. Though the price of some food offered here is more expensive if we compare from others, but it will not be a problem for the visitors.

If you haven’t come to this nice place yet, you just need Rp. 5000 for the entrance ticket to enter this place. I think this is the cheapest ticket price I have ever known in batam for a recreation place. For your information, if you come here by car, you can directly enter the entrance after paying the ticket, but if you come here by motor cycle, you cannot bring your motor cycle along with you to enter this place, but you should park your motor cycle at the parking area provided by the management just out side the entrance gate. After that you need to walk to the gate to pay for the entrance ticket. Ocarina managements provide two special and small cars to take the visitors from the gate to the main place inside the Ocarina. But I think these cars are not enough to bring all the visitors. So If I may suggest to the management of the Ocarina, Providing more cars will be an advantage for the management to satisfy the visitors. Because from what I have seen so far, many visitors who come here by motor bike or cab take a walk from the gate to the playing arenas inside the Ocarina. Another suggestion is, if it is possible, please make a motor bike parking area inside the place. So the visitors don’t need to walk so far anymore to get the place.

As there are many visitors come to Ocarina, the management of ocarina should improve their service in order to keep their customers. Providing more transportations as for the visitors will be one of the management consideration to attract their costumers to visit the place. I am quite sure if the managements build a motor cycle parking area inside the entrance gate, more people will come to this place. Where do you think you can find places in batam that provide free internet access for you without spending money? If your answer is Cafes or Food Courts, it is not a correct answer. Why do I say so? When you visit a cafe that provides free Wifi, you still have to pay for drinks or food that you order. Or let say you only order a drink, Orang juice for example, you still have to pay for this order, don’t you?. If your answer is Engku Putri and Tiban Park, then i agree with your answer.

Engku Putri Park is located in Batam Center. If you know the location of Batam City Government (Pemko Batam), you should know this Park well. The name of Engku Putri is very familiar with batam citizen. Besides because of the free WiFi, also because of many activities are usually held in this place. By the way, Batam city government which had the idea to facilitate the park with free WiFi. The pioneer of this free Wifi is the vice mayor of Batam city government, that is Mr. Ria Saptarika. Because of a good cooperation between the mayor and the vice mayor of Batam City Government, the free Wifi could be provided in the park. One of internet providers in batam becomes a main sponsor of this free Wifi, that is Telkom Speedy. That’s why there is only speedy access available in this Park.

Many batam citizen take some advantages from this Free wireless internet connection. Especially for students and workers that don’t have any internet access at home. Because of this free Wifi, there are many people come to Engku Putri park every day. Especially for university students, they always come to this place to finish their home works given by their lecturer. Even in the morning, you can find some people already come to use the access. There are three shelters that are available in the park. So all people use these three shelters when they enjoy the facilities provided by the Batam City Government. From my observation for a week of the shelters, the three shelters are not enough for all people that come to this place, especially on saturday. So if I may give a suggestion to Batam City Government, please add more shelters in this park, at least 2 more shelters. For your information, there are three accesses point in this park, namely, Engku Putri, Engku Putri 1 and Engku Putri 2. So you have three options to choose which access point you want to connect to your laptop.

Besides Engku Putri Park, there is another park that is facilitated with a free Wifi in Batam, that is Tiban Park. Tiban park is located in Tiban. It takes about 15 minutes from Nagoya to reach this place. There is only one shelter you can find in this park, but I am sure that the Batam City Government will add more shelters in the future. Many people that stay in this area use this facility at their spare times.

In conclusion, many people in batam come to Engku Putri and Tiban Park to use the free Wifi provided by Batam City Government. The free WiFi is very useful for batam citizen especially for Students in Batam, as they can use the facility to do their home works without spending any money. You can imagine if they go to internet cafe and do their home works there, how much money they will spend for it. Hopefully, The Batam City Government will add another shelters at these two parks and add the access points as well.

My Mart, The Computer Center in Batam

It is true that My Mart is not the only one place where you can buy computer or laptop. There are some other places that also offers computer or laptop, such as Nagoya Hill, Dc Mall, Panbil Mall. But from all of them, many people prefer to go to My Mart for buying new computer or laptop. For Internet Cafe owner in Batam, My Mart becomes a favorite place to visit when they need to buy new computers or laptop or other equipments.

There are some reasons why people come to My Mart to buy new or second hand computer or laptop and others spare parts.. International Sea Ports in Batam Island

Nowadays, batam island is very popular in other countries. Many foreigners from different countries come to this island with different intentions. Some of them come here for business, some for shopping, and some more for holidays. It is not really important for me to discuss what are their intentions to come to batam, but for this chance I just would like to give you some information how they get to the island that is now trying hard to become a digital Island in Indonesia. As batam location is just nearby Singapore, so for Singaporean and Malaysian, they can directly come to batam from their sea ports by ferry. I have mentioned before in my previous post, that It usually takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour from Singapore to batam, and around 90 minutes to 2 hours from Malaysia to batam. For other asia countries, they usually go to Singapore first, then come to batam through Singapore sea port.

From what I have seen so far, there are many international sea ports that we can see in Batam. Some of them are: 1. Batam Center International Sea Port, 2. Sekupang International Sea Port, 3. Harbour Bay Sea Port, 4. Nongsa Pura Sea Port, and 5. Water Front Marina Sea Port Although this island is not as big as other islands in Indonesia, but it can not be denied that this island can compete with other island to attract foreigners to come to this island.

BATAM CENTER SEA PORT

Batam Center International Sea Port is located in Batam Center. It is just nearby Mega Mall Shopping Center. If you stay in Nagoya, you will take about 15 to 20 minutes to reach this sea port. And if you have just arrived at Hang Nadim air port and want to go directly to this sea port, you will take about 30 minutes to get this port. This international sea port offers two routes to the passengers. The routes that they offers are Singapore and Malaysia. The port that starts the operation from 7am to 10pm Indonesian time becomes the best choice for batam citizens that stay in Batam Center area. Inside the port we also can see some shops that sell some stuffs, such as food, drinks, snacks, perfumes, and many more. This international sea port also has a big and secured parking area for cars and motor bikes as well. The passengers that use their cars to the sea port and stay overnight in Singapore or Malaysia do not feel worried of the cars that they leave in the sea port parking area, because they know that the cars will be kept safely there. That is why if you come to this port at day time, you may see many cars are parked well in this secured parking area.

SEKUPANG SEA PORT

Sekupang Intenational Sea Port is located in Sekupang. This port only offers the route to Singapore. The port starts the operation from 7am to 7pm Indonesian Time. People who stay in Sekupang, Tiban, and Baloi usually choose this port to go to Singapore. The sekupang international port locations is quite far from Hang Nadim air port. It takes about 45 minutes to reach this port. If you stay in Nagoya, and plan to use this port to go abroad, you just need to take 30 minutes to get the port. HARBOUR BAY SEA PORT

Although consider to be a new sea port, Harbour Bay can compete with other sea ports in batam in giving the best services to the passengers. The strategic location of this sea port becomes one of the reason why many people choose this sea port when they are planning to go to Singapore. This harbour bay sea port is located in Jodoh. So if you guys always come to this café, I suggest you to register yourself to become a member, so you can save 20% of your total cost anytime you buy something from this cafe. There is another reason why people especially they who like using the wifi service are fond of coming to this café, that is because the connection speed of the wife is very good. If the connection is slow, I am sure many of the customers will leave this cafe.

Another cafe that becomes a favorite cafe in batam is Cool Juz Cafe. This cafe is located at the third floor of Batam City Square’s building in Baloi area. One of the activities is BLOG CLINIC thas was held by this café a few months ago. In this event, they taught all the members to build or create a new blog. There were around 20 people joined the competition at that time and the event was quite success. So for all of you who want to try the meal and drinks here, come to this place and I am sure you will like this cafe and will visit this cafe again when you have spare time.

In Short, the free WiFi provided by the owners of the cafe really can attract people to visit their cafes. High Internet connection speed is also being a consideration for the customers in choosing which Wifi they are going to use. The lowest prices and best services also becomes some reasons for the customers to choose which cafe they will visit. Motor Communities in Batam Island.

Most of my friends who stay outside this island do not believe that in this small island, there are many motor communities from many types of motor. They ever asked me few questions about these motor communities. Some of them are: Where do all of these motor communities go for touring? and what contributions do these communities give to the Batam citizens? There are many motor communities in Batam. Some of them are: 1. Motorizations Club, 2. Batam Mio Club (BMC), 3. Bikers Tiger Batam (BTB), 4. Batam King Club (BKC), 5. Batam Thunder Motor Community (BTMC) and many others.

It is not easy to become a member of a motor community in batam island. Every community has its own rules in recruiting new members. Let’s say in Bikers Tiger Batam (BTB), if you want to register yourself to be a member of this community, you have to pass some of the requirements applied in this community. The requirements are: 1. a new member must have a Driving License. 2. a new member must have a motor cycle typed: Tiger 2000 with a complete and legal document. 3. a new member must be passed for a riding motor test conducted by a special team from Bikers Tiger Batam. 4. a new member should follow all the regulations applied by the policeman including the usage of helmet while he is riding a motor, and never break the traffic light. Until now this community has around 56 members that spread out in Batam Island.

Different from Bikers Tiger Batam, Motorization Club’s requirements to be a new member are easier to fulfill. Even if you don’t have a motor bike you still can be a member of this community, but remember you should have a helmet. Another easiness for a new member in this club is; this community accepts any types of motor bikes to join. So there are so many types of motor bikes available in this communities. If one day you come to see this club, you may see some types of motor cycle there, just like Thunder, Smash, Shogun, Supra, mio, cs 1, and many others. For your information, all of the members of this communities stay in Cammo Industrial Park Batam Center because all of the members of this community are employees in some companies in Cammo Industrial Park Batam Center. Though this community is still new, but the this club has already have so many members. The chief of this Motorization said the community now has more than 113 members.

Well, you probably ask me just like my friends questions as I mentioned above. Where do all of these motor communities go for touring? The answer for this question actually is simple. For Bikers Tiger Batam, there are three types of touring. The first one is City Touring. Training Touring, and the last one is Free Touring. The City touring means that we do the touring at the main roads in Batam Cities, just like Batam Center, Sei Panas, Pelita, Nagoya, Jodoh, Penuin. The aim of this City touring is to campaign the safety riding to all batam citizens.As we know together that some of batam citizens still do not understand that the safety riding is very important for them.

Therefore, we do this city touring at least once in two months. Second, Training touring. Training Touring is held to train a new member to be a tough riders. Having a good health and being able to ride the motor bikes for hours are really needed by a good biker. The route for this touring is from Barelang Bridge to Melur Beach. This touring is held once a month and usually spends 3 hours to do this touring. Once again, we only do this touring when we want to train some new members. Third, Free Touring. Free touring means we are free to bring our families, girl friend, boy friend or all of our friends to join the touring. And the destination for this free touring is not in Batam Island. We usually go to other island to hold this free touring, such as Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Uban, Lagoi and all parts of Bintan Island. We usually take at least 2 days in doing this touring. From some free touring that we have conducted, there were at least 15 motor bikes that used to join this touring. This touring is usually held once in 6 months.

Back to my friend’s second question, what contributions do these communities give to the Batam citizens?. As a member of a motor bike community in Batam, I am able to let you know some contributions that some communities give to batam citizens. You probably know that all of the communities have their own programs in a year, including Bikers Tiger Batam. The first contribution given by Bikers Tiger Batam is to let batam citizens know how important to use safety riding while they are riding motor bikes. The second contribution is The social services that is conducted by Bikers Tiger Batam once in two months. The Social services could be doing some mosquitoes fogging in some areas in Batam Island, or visiting some mosques and churches in Batam and give something that probably needed by them. The third contribution is to give batam citizens knowledge about the importance of following the traffic regulations that is applied by the policeman. So if you guys stay in batam, and you have your own motor bike, don’t hesitate to join these communities. You can choose which community you want to join. If you have a tiger motor bike, you may join the Bikers Tiger Batam Community. If you have a thunder motor bike, you can join the Batam Thunder Motor Community (BTMC), and if you have a mio motor bike, you can join Batam Mio Club (BMC), or you can choose other communities that you think you are suitable to join.

In addition, although some people probably don’t like of the existence of motor communities in Batam, but these motor communities have taken some important parts to make batam citizens realize the usage of the safety riding while they are riding their motor cycles as well as the importance of following traffic regulations for their safety. However, sharing about some modifications of the motor bike and finding some motor’s equipments with low prices become another advantage for all the members of community.

Shopping Centers in Batam

If we are talking about batam, like or dislike we will talk about the Shopping Centers in Batam. Why do I say so? It’s just because For foreigners especially Singaporean and malaysian, Batam Island becomes the best place to do shopping. The main reason is because Batam is just nearby Singapore and Malaysia. Everybody knows that it only takes around 45 minutes from Singapore to reach Batam by ferry, and around 1 hour 30 minutes from Malaysia. Not only the distance becomes the reason why Singaporean and Malaysian prefer to do shopping in Batam, Low prices also become the second reason why they always come to batam for shopping.

There are some famous and big shopping centers in Batam. And I am sure that all of us who stay in Batam know these Shopping Centers. Let us say Nagoya Hills Shopping Center, BCS, DC Mall, Mega Mall and Panbil Mall. If I don’t mention some shopping centers that are available in Batam here in my post, it does not mean that I don’t like those shopping centers, but it is because I only choose the famous and big Shopping Centers in Batam to discuss.

The First Shopping Center I would like to share with you is Nagoya Hill shopping center. This shopping center is located in Nagoya. It only takes around 2 minutes from Nagoya Hotel Plaza to reach this shopping center. Although this shopping center is quite new, but many people come to do shopping at this place. The strategic area could be the main reason, why people choose this shopping center to do shopping and it’s also the reason why many tenants rents the room at this shopping center. If you haven’t come to this place before, I suggest you to come here. Many things are offered at this shopping center, and the price of the products selling here is also reasonable.

Not far from Nagoya Hill shopping center, there is also a big and unique shopping center in Penuin. The Shopping Center’s name is BCS. BCS itself stands for Batam City Square. The type of the building of this shopping center is so unique. The first time I saw this shopping center, a luxurious impression really came out in my mind. As I said before that this shopping center is located in Penuin, so almost all of the people who stay in Penuin Area choose this shopping center to do shopping. If we go inside the shopping center, we may see so many electronics counters there, especially mobile phone. Many types of mobile phones are offered here, and of course with low prices. If you are curious of this shopping center, you may come and check by yourself. I am sure you will like this shopping center.

Taking around 20 minutes from Batam City Square to Jodoh area, we will find a famous shopping center there. The shopping center is also quite big. People in this area are also fond of this shopping center. The name of this shopping center is DC Mall. The letters “DC” here stand for Diamond City. Different from Batam City Square, most of Diamond City Mall’s tenants offers many types computers to sell. Not only the new computer or laptop are sold there, the second hands computers are also available there. Many people choose this place if they want to buy computer as the price offered by the sellers are quite reasonable. For your information, besides selling computers, many of the tenants also provides reparation service for all electronics stuff, including the computers. So if one of your computer’s component spoils, you may come to this place for reparation.

If we go to Batam Center area, there is one shopping center there that located just nearby Batam Center Sea Port. The name of this shopping center is Mega Mall. Mega Mall becomes famous and always visited by buyers because of some things. The first thing is the strategic location. Especially for Singaporean and Malaysian or all foreigners that just arrive at batam center sea port, they just need two minutes to reach this shopping center. Many of them who have just arrived come to this place to have drinks or meal. After that they go to their hotel, and in the afternoon or evening, they come back again to this place to do shopping. This shopping center also becomes famous for all people in Batam, because many cafes that available at this shopping center provide some wireless internet connection freely that enables people to do all activities that has relationship with internet. But don’t get me wrong, if you enter one of cafes in this area, please make sure you order some drinks or meals, because if you only come to this place and use the service, it is also not fair for the owner of the cafe.

The last shopping center I am going to let you know is Panbil Mall. This shopping center is located at Panbil Area. Panbil area is just nearby Muka Kuning. Panbil Mall is the biggest shopping center at this area. Not only people who stay in in muka kuning come to this place, but many people from other place come to this shopping center to do shopping. Let’s say from Tanjung Piayu, Pancur, Tembesi, and Batu Aji. So no wonder, if you go to this place on Saturday, you surely find so many people inside this shopping center. The owner of this shopping center also applies a secured parking for all cars and motor cycles of the buyers. We only need to pay Rp 500 for motor cycle and Rp. 1000 for car for the service of the secured parking. And don’t worry, your cars and motor bike will be safe at the parking area. It is so obvious that there are so many shopping centers in Batam Island, and each shopping center offers different advantages to their tenants. Batam from my point of view

It was on September 2000 when i came to this City. As the plane that flied me from medan landed at Hang Nadim air port, the first comment that came out from my mouth was “Wow Batam is Great”. I said “Batam is great” because I saw the Hang Nadim air port is quite big. I could see more than 9 planes were available there and ready to fly. I was also told by one of my friends who fetched me from the air port that Hang Nadim air port has become an international airport and it made all of batam citizens proud, he added.

On my way to the place where I wanted to stay, i became more saluted to this city. The street from air port to orchid park was very good. My friend explained to me that he was really happy if he was asked by the bos to fetch someone from the air port. It was just because the Street was really good. There was no one hole all along the street, and there’s no traffic jam at all. “This is Batam Man”, he added, of course different from Medan. At that time I thought he was right, and until now I also still agree with him.

One day after I arrived here, my friend asked me to visit Muka Kuning. And that was my first time to see so many companies were located in one big area. My friend said that most of companies there produced Electronic equipments. And each company at least employs one thousand employees. After visited Muka Kuning, then we went to Turi Beach. It took 40 minutes away from Muka Kuning to this resort. I got surprised when we arrived there. The resort which was located at the northeast part of batam island was very beautiful. There were so many resorts available at this place. And the views were so amazing. You could see the sun sets from this place clearly.

Getting tired from Turi Beach, then we went to Nagoya to have dinner. At first I was confused with the name of “Nagoya”. I thought my friend was joking when he said that there was one place in Batam Named Nagoya. And I realized that he was not kidding after I reconfirmed to one of the servant who served us at that time. It was not difficult for us to find the place to eat as there were so many restaurants available in Nagoya.

It was more than 8 years ago. And Now Batam Island has changed a lot. From all aspects this city has changed. For some people, Batam Island is the heaven city, as they can find and get everything here. If they want to stay in resort, they can choose the resort that they like, as there are so many resort available here. If they want to go to Singapore, they just need around 40 minutes away to arrive there. If they want to shop in Batam, then can choose the mall that they like, because there are so many malls here.

In Short, there is no point for all westerners or other people not to come to this City, because this city provides everything to the citizens and visitors. As long as you have enough money, you can try everything here, from food, shopping, sports, hotels, cafes, or pubs. I suggest you all to come to batam and enjoy yourselves here. This is my point of view about Batam in General, and for the next post i will describe all the interesting places that available in batam one by one.

Logging in Yahoo Messenger with many Ids / Usernames

I am always asked by many of my friends of how to logging in Yahoo Messenger with many id. Explaining step by step to different person is very hard to do, therefore, I post this explanation in my blog, so for you guys who need this information can read and follow the steps. Watch the steps carefully, and I believe that if you follow it correctly, you will succeed to logging in Yahoo Messenger with more than one id. But it’s necessary to remind you that if you logging in too many id or usernames in your computer or laptop, the Cpu will be working slower.

How To Do It ?

Click Menu Start, then choose RUN, after that there will appear a new tab and you type REGEDIT in the empty box then click OK. The next step you have to do is to choose HYKEY_CURRENT_USER, then click SOFTWARE. After choosing the SOFTWARE you then choose YAHOO, then go to PAGER and choose TEST. At the right side of the TEST you do right click then click NEW after that you choose DWORD VALUE. After doing that, you should rename it to PLURAL then press ENTER. Double click the new Folder with the name of PLURAL then at the Volume Data, you just fill in to 1 and at the right side, for the base you choose DECIMAL, then click OK. After doing this, you may test to logging in Yahoo Messenger using all of your id. I do believe if you do the given steps above, you will be able to logging in more than one id in your computer.
